A Lil' Bit of Grunge

I'm very excited to blog on this good weathered Friday :D for my friends who haven't actually seen me, this is a preview of what I'll be wearing when you do see me :D
I'm channeling a bit of the 90s grunge scene here wearing plaids and leather together. the look is actually inspired from one blogger who wore plaid under jacket :D i was inspired right away.

I took these series of photos right after I got dressed in a slightly different location. My mom is away for a business trip and my dad has left the house in the morning, so aka I have the house to myself. Because of that, I have the chance to roam around and take pics without the need of my parents starring at me while I do my mini photo shoot :D turns out that my house has ALOT of good photo spots.. right now I have 3 good spots .

Prep Up

back to my usual outfit posts :D It's been long since the last time I wore flats in my usual outfit posts. I've become an-almost-full time heel person. I feel so much more confident with a pair of heels as opposed to flats. But still, as comfy as heels are, they're NEVER comfier than a pair of flats (or even better Havaianas flip flops) I still use flats for driving anyway :D

I finally got THE PERFECT boyfriend blazer ! I told Valencia & Qin (when i was at S'pore) that I was looking for a nice long bf blazer.. and I actually found this the day after the meetup at Warehouse, Ion :D its so comfy and roomy !

haven't worn this LV bag for ages. I was cleaning through my closet and I "found" it again. So i decided to give it a wear especially when it sorta matches my washed denim mini-skort :D

im still on the search for the comfiest flats on earth. these are pretty good. but as I walked through these in Singapore, turns out I still get blisters after like 4-5 hours of walking :| do u guys have any brand recommendations ? I heard Repetto flats are pretty good..

i cant get enough of chainlink necklaces.. they remind me of Chanel !

ps* i've gotten my hands on the rest of the wedding photos. the images were still unedited so I'll have to flip through the 4 DVDS (yesh all the pictures are worth 16GB !!) and edit them a bit and I'll post it up :D

Singapore Sling Part Deux .

okay part two : BLOGGER MEET UP OVERSEAS !
firstly, i cant believe that I actually got the chance to meet 3 other lovely girls [and plus 1 whom I've already met 2x!] i've only contacted through the WWW (world wide web). I've been planning to go to spore since like 2 months ago, and I was very excited that my trip was confirmed ! So right away when I knew I'm jetting off to spore on the 22nd, I arranged a meet up with the Valencia, Qin, Vheney, and Adela straightaway ! (well actually Valencia did most of the arrangement work.. thanks love !) Second.. it was great to actually meet up with other bloggers outside Indonesia !

these DSLRs peeps totally beat my tiny Canon Ixus..


i feel like im the most casual out of the crowd.. oh well . i cudnt carry my whole wardrobe for travelling.. and Valencia actually told me that she thought I'd be wearing heels.. turns out im not ! im anti heels when it comes to travelling ! these flower flats already got me blisters on my feet :( had to buy a pair of Havainas during the tripp.. heeee

Singapore Sling Part 1 .

decided to split my singapore trip blog post into TWO ! because i cant upload the huge amount of pictures up altogether . dont wanna make my readers spammed with pictures (esp when indonesia's internet is super slow..) so here's part one . which is basically a recap of my trip to singapore :D

BEWARE * LOTS OF FOOD PICTURES ! (im still drooling by the way..)

makeup : sephore eye shadow from brown eyes, bobbi bornw concealer kit, clinique quickliner in roasted coffee, Shu Uemura tinted brow gel in bronze, Mac bluch in peaches, and Benefit High Blem highlighter..
wearing new contacts :D and experimented with the Sephora eye shadow set for Brown Eyes Talisha gave me for Christmas ! can't really the colors here though.. but the palette was really nice for day to day makeup (a good alternative to my usually beige and browns..)

not much outfit pics of me (i only packed 1 jeans, 1 leggings, and 3 tops by the way.. saving space for shopping..haha) but i though i'd share my bf's VERY WELL DRESSED tiny sister.. is it me, or does she seem to be chaneling Blair Waldorf with those bow headbands and preppy-girly vibe?

FRIED MARS BAR ! my boyfriend always talks how good these stuff are (and they're usually only available in Australia) Finally I got a chance to taste these at Far East Plaza basement ! They're soooooo effin' GOOOOODDD ! its the best combination : chocolate and flour batter deep friend in oil (urrgh.. fat alert though..)

Green Tea Tofu Pudding at Simbashi Soba, Paragon :D i like to come here after a shopping trip.. they have a happy hour dessert set for SGD$5.00 for one dessert + green tea at 2pm-5pm . you should also try the Anmitsu (japanese jellies and mochis with red bean paste glazed with honey brown sugar)

my shopping highlights :D chain ankle strap Topshop heels (very comfortable despite the height!), unbranded black patent shoes for upcoming DIY project :D, chain link necklace from F21, rings from a stall at Vivo City, and I got one of my christmas wishlist ticked off : Mulberry Bayswater bag :D


i just realized that by the end of the trip, that I didn't take any shots of the bride and groom at the wedding ! hahahah.. and i didnt do any other shots during other normal days as well .. i was too concentrated with my shopping and food since i only had 3 full days to go around singapore (definitely NOT enough !)

Boon Tong Kee Here I Come !

I will be heading off to Singapore on Friday until Tuesday . So another hiatus for me I guess .. haha.. oh and if you're wondering what my post title is talking about , Boon Tong Kee is my favorite Singaporean Chicken Rice restaurant (and it's also a favorite for the locals and visitors too!).. Singapore really does have the best chicken rice ! I'll make sure to take lots of food porn when I'm there :D Meanwhile just before I jet off, I'll keep you busy with some portraits mini-photoshoot in my room today.
