Sorry for the lack of posting during the weekends. Instead of relaxing, I was actually VERY busy. I didn't even get a chance to get a blissful 8 hour sleep at all. I sleep at 3am on the morning of saturday, then had to wake up at 8. On the night of Saturday, I had a surprise birthday planned for my friend. Therefore I arrived home at 2 and I had to wake up at 7 for church service on the Sunday. Then on Sunday, I couldn't even get a small nap because the schedule is also packed! So here's my post!
I guess the reason because I couldn't blog is because I use the free time to do my DIY projects. I've got the tutorial photos already but I haven't got the chance to create a write up for it. I will do so sometime during this week :D Anyway, today am showing you guys the 2 projects I did over the weekend. I can't wait to blog on the tutorial.
my DIY back shred shirt . i love the way it drapes very much !
DIY studded headband, cotton.ink grey melange shawl, DIY shredded shirt, Zara blue tank top, DIY patchwork navy leggings, cross necklace from Valencia, random bangles, Chanel bag, studded shoes from Hong Kong
double draping ! the cotton ink scarf drapes beautifully over the front while the shredded shirt drapes beautifully at the back ;)
best thing about these shirts? you can wear different kinds of tanks/tees underneath to make it different everytime you wear it ;D

just realized am wearing THREE DIY pieces at the same time. I don't know about you guys, but I feel some kind of pride when I wear my DIY projects (especially when people ask where I got them. hahahaha) Anyways, that's all for this blue monday. I'm actually in class while am editting these pics and blog post. I rather blog than listen to the teacher.
oh am looking for a good DSLR camera, if you've got recommendations, feel free to comment :D my current options are the Canon G11 or Canon 450D .. but am open to ANY suggestions !

Thanks so much on your feedback with my photos Michelle. Yeaa,I always use imageshack for my photos. But it was screwed up that day,so I had no choice but to use tinypic. Yeaa,I only tried using flickr once.
Maybe I should switch to flickr too like you! Its really good to spend some time with DIYs as well. For me,my weekend was just relaxing with my love and going for the tattoo convention!
Yesssss, the convention was soooo good! Its held once a year here in the early Jan,my aim is to get tattooed at the convention next year!
Big hugsssss :)
Ohhh I forgot to add,between a Canon G11 or Canon 450D. I would choose the 450D:)
But I feel you should really go for the Canon 500D. Its a really affordable yet really good DSLR camera.
I'm not sure which diy project I'm liking best but surely they're both great, you have such creativity! If I had so much time I would probably copy something of you! Have a nice day, hugs!
That shirt is making me drool! It's uber sexy and you look so fab in it!

I am loving this outfit! You are great at DYI projects. They look so good! I was actually in love with a very special shirt that had the same back cut, which I bough this Saturday, but I won't be able to show it until the warm weather comes along... :P
Anyway, have a super fun week and get some sleep!

Luv ur DIYS!! Have a good Monday, hope u getsome sleep : ) xx
the DIY tees is cool!! I love it, you must have chosen perfect basic tee so it produce a beautiful drapery like that.
oh and as for DSLR instead of Canon 450D, I suggest you to use Canon 500D. They added video featured on it so you could produce video with blurry-to-sharp effect.
gudluck on finding your DSLR, mine is the old Canon EOS 400D :)
DIY looks awesome! Get a 450D like mine!
Great DIY pieces! Thanks for all your comments on my blog..

love the diy top :) xx
The DIY tee is so fab Michelle.
Re: camera recommendations... the G11 is not a DSLR but it is a very powerful point and shoot. I use that as my abck-up camera. It's like the point and shoot of professionals. If you want a handy camera, then this is the perfect choice.
The 450D is a DSLR. If you will just rely on the kit lens, then the output is not that good. So you have to purchase a separate lens like the 24-105mm or the 50mm, depending on your needs.
If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'm such a Canon addict. xoxo
