Lovin' Leopards .

Just managed to do a blog post now since I’ve just gotten hold of an internet connection at my boyfriend’s house. My internet connection at home is currently being repaired. Hopefully it’ll be good when the mechanics come on Sunday again. In the mean time, I can only manage to reply some of the comments. But I’ll surely reply all comments when I get hold of the internet connection back at home.

So yesterday (Friday), I went shopping with my boyfriend’s sister at Plaza Indonesia. It was such a great ‘retail therapy’ for me. The trip took my mind off the stress I’ve been having throughout my college studies.

Here’s the outfit part :D I love the ‘reconstructed’ leopard dress very much . It was first only a sleepwear with a very revealing V-neckline. So I decided to make it into a “proper dress” by layering it with a black bandeau over. Turns out that the satin slip looked very nice ! Maybe I should try doing that with other clothes I have..

Ruffle Raves

My internet died out again last night and it's still dead until now . I'm actually doing this post while I'm in my negotiation class. The others are doing their presentation and I'm blogging and taking notes at the same time on my laptop. I've reached over my first 50 followers by the way ! thanks for the support you guys . Without you peeps, I wouldn't be doing this blogging on a daily basis. So thanks again for you support !

I finally got to wear my knee high socks ! I found these after I lost them for about a year. I always love the joy when I find an old item back . It's like a reunion :D And I got these ruffled sleeve blazer from Club21 at Papillion, Kemang. Aren't they great ?? I couldn't find my size, but I just loved it so much that I just got the one in a size bigger . haha..

Tough Leather for Tough Days

So here I am getting worse in my PMS days -_-" i should be doing my final projects, but I really dont have the urge to do so. So rather than doing the project in a poor quality, I'd rather postpone it and do it later. I also realized that I still can't stop snacking (current snack : cream cheese on whole meal pita bread with artificial sweetener)..
Here's my outfit for today . I had a quiz this morning (in which I didn't study for.. if you follow my tweets then you'll know what I mean).. luckily the teacher was nice enough to give an open-book quiz instead . I AM SOOOO LUCKY TODAY ! turns out that many of you ARE right that maybe my Monday wasn't a sign of a bad week at all. hahaha ..

PMS -Pathetic Monday Syndrome-

Gah . I'm not having the best Monday despite the fact that I only had 5 hours of sleep last night (check out my teenie weenie eyes on the photos. lol) ! And it took me so long to get ready . took me like 45 mins to dress up . that's like double the usual amount of time . I changed at about 5 outfits before ending up with the one I posted. Is this a sign of a bad start of the week ? I hope not ..
Plus even with this outfit I wore, I still had to loose the sweater and the scarf. It was way too hot for the weather ! In the end I just wore my liquid leggings and my draped grey tank . haha

skipped my textiles lecture today because I wasn't feeling up for it . I really am having PMS right now and am not in the mood of doing anything except for eating (that explains my 2kg weight-gain from the Anyer beach trip). Hope I'll feel more focused during the upcoming week as because I got lots of finals that need a lot of tackling.

Anyer Getaway .

Holla there bloggers !
I've been off to Anyer beach since yesterdau noon (its only around 2hours car-drive from Jakarta) . Apparently, I don't have an internet connection at the cottage, so I'm posting this through an email post from my BlackBerry .

Chic Pearls and Rockin' Fishnets

I wasn't having the best Friday despite that I don't have a whole day worth of class. I was so busy from morning till evening. I had the photoshoot at 1pm till about 5ish.. It actually went quite good, although I'm still not sure how am I gonna edit all the gorgeous pictures taken my beautiful model friend, Belinda. She's truly gorgeous. I feel so ugly when I'm beside her.

Doesn't she look pretty despite the fuzzy hair on the picture on the left ?

My boyfriend kind of ruined the day. he kept telling me that I should do the photo session quicker. and I told him that I couldn't rush it or it'll look ugly and it wont be sufficient for my final project. Still as usual, he's still irritating and kept telling me to rush it off. It pisses me off that he can't respect me for doing my errands. It's not like I'm doing nothing. I'm doing my college final project and that matters alot to me. Suggestions how to solve this problem ?? I always have trouble with this kind of thing..

Here's what I wore. I decided to wear the bowtie fishnet stockings again cus I really love it . and wore it with nude colored goods . PLUS ! new nude pumps from Pedder Red . These are very gorgeous and elegant. and comfortable too . i couldn't take it off my foot right after I tried it on at the boutique on Wednesday.

I purposely blurred the picture above because I was inspired by the way NYLON mag editted their pictures. They all have this retro feel . and one edition had a fashion spread where 2 models were hangin' out at the beach in the winter wearing full suits and layers of other apparels. I totally loved the way that fashion spread had blurry images. I'll post it up when I find that magazine. Here's non-blurry version of the look:

my favorite part is the pearl layers . give the rockin' tights a nice feminine touch . kinda reminds me of Chanel's looks even though that's not where I got my ideas from.

Paisley Prints

I'm happy that weekend is coming near ! but sad that I still have tons of work to do for school . I'll be having a photoshoot for my advertisement final project tommorow, and I still have replacement class (plus presentation!) on saturday morning. How sucky is that? But on the contrary, I got a new amazing Prada taupe bag from my mom. I love it soo much that I decided to wear it right away. It's very lightweight and great for carrying my daily things inside my bag (which tends to be ALOT).

So yesterday was very relaxing but I wasn't productive either. I just went to my friend's focus group discussion for Data Gathering class and that's all. All i had to do is basically talk and answer questions. Plus free mini J.Co J-Pops donuts! haha..Here's what I wore:

I wasn't sure which picture was better. the pre-edit one (this one below) or the post-edit one. I like them both. I think the scene is good enough even before editing. I decided to shoot in my terrace to get some different scenes instead of my boring room. I guess the green scene matched the paisleys on my dress.

and my lunch at Immigrant, Plaza Indonesia . I had Baked Chicken Al Horno (whatever that is, but it's quite delicious) and nipped off some calamaris from my friend. These are one of the best calamaris you can find in Jakarta !

And my online shopping goods came today! Zippered liquid-like leggings! can't wait to rock 'em out once I'm washed them (my mom told me to always wash new clothes because you don't know what kind of situation the clothes are in before it was in your hands)

Hip Hop Holiday .

Adidas Fafi jacket, PMK shirt, Adidas drop crotch pants, Roxy studded belt unbranded bandage heels.

Since I skipped school yesterday, I didn’t to do some “role playing” in my room. I’m currently trying out the Glam Hip Hop look (in which I think I’m not suited to). I took out my 13th or 14th birthday present from my mom which was a whole set of Adidas’ limited edition Artist collection. The set was a collaboration with a French graphic artist named Fafi. I truly love her drawings..it’s so girly but somehow not overtly girly.
It contained a reversible track jacket, a pair of sneakers, and some drop-crotch pants. Back then, I was obsessed with the Adidas Missy Elliot collection and my peers were all adidas-fans as well. So I’m kinda retrospecting my old looks again this time. Instead of wearing the whole Fafi set in one, I decided to only wear the track jacket, the pants (which I NEVER worn except for sleep. Hhahaha). Then added some bandage heels, and voila !

I just found out that dressing up feels like a work-out to me. In the blazing hot weather of Jakarta, I’m actually sweating when I run back and forth my room to get this and that, plus all the kneeling needed when I set the camera up..
