its been too long since the last time I took out my maxi cut pieces out to town. today I decided to try them on again. they still fit me well, except that now i have a lower ab bump (which im trying to cover up by putting my hands over them). I desperately need a good workout but I never have the time ! anyway, i realized how much can a maxi skirt elongate my legs. I feel like I'm 5" taller in these photos..

Dreamy or Edgy

I guess most Indonesians are already aware of this competition hosted by METRO Department Store. But for those who don't, METRO is running two themes for their spring campaign: Delightfully Dreamy or Eclectically Edgy. All we have to do to participate is take as many pictures that match the theme and upload them to METRO's microsite here. If your looks amaze the judge and voters, you'll win IDR 3,000,000 worth of METRO voucher (pssst.. there's be THREE winners ! and all of them will win 3mill vouchers each !)

Here are some goodies I snapped at the deparment store that suits my taste AND both of the themes ! as many of you know, my style is naturally eclectic. So I guess the stuff below could be worn altogether by me !

those nude peep toes by Nine West are to die for.. Pink accents made it look young instead of too formal..
beautfiful fur vest and collar and agne. I'd pair this with a black tank and those Wimo peep toe oxfords and the BYSI high waist shorts below..

METRO also has a specialized jewelry store at Pondok Indah Mall I. *i forgot the name of the shop* It's on the second floor right next to Charles & Keith. They stock up nice vintage and ethnic style rings and bangles. My picks are these round ones and the giant silver wraparound below.
got the silver one and another oversize ring for myelf :) my coordinator, Welliem, was nice enough to offer me his staff discount facilities.
lovely draped piece my XSML .. I can totally wear this all summer long and even into the winter season as well.. not that I have any winter here..

faux leather jacket = key to the edgy look.
pops of coral adds a touch of feminism into the edgy looks. This Nine West oversize clutch has a sweet color with tought zipper details.

last but not least, I'm a fan of accessories. the heavily chained necklace on the left is by XSML and the chains on the right are attached to the shirt.

Work Hard, Play Harder

i actually wore this outfit specifically to put an entry into one of Hypeed.com's contribution theme. hahaha.. tried to contrast the playful feel of the romper by layering it with a professional feel blazer. lucky the gray tones were a match :) first time using my new lens ! i loved the fact that i no longer have to blur my photos on photoshop anymore. I just have to sit back and let the lens do the job !

Surf, Sun, and Sand

sorry for making you crave for more summer holiday at the beach days. I cant help but post these pictures I took with my high school friends around a week ago. Editing process was a pain (took me hours, maybe even days, to choose and edit from like 500 photos). I wish the sky was actually blue instead of gray (yes we mostly get gray skies here in Indonesia) on that day.. too bad the "photoshoot" only had one outfit. We plan to change but not long after we started snapping, a clad of perves from the nearby construction site showed up. So yeah, we had to pack up quickly and dash back to the house.

*ps* all the blue skies here are editted..haha.. believe me they're not even this blue in real life !

Cotton Ink Webstore Launching Soiree

On Tuesday, I was invited over to Cotton Ink's webstore opening at Immigrant, Plaza Indonesia. Had some drinks and mushroom pizza and basically waited until the last seconds till the webstore was unlocked! It was great to meet the brilliant minds behind the brand, Carline & Ria, as well ! They were both very friendly.. I wish I had more time to stay afterward for more talks. Anyway here are the highlights !

cotton ink grey melange tossed over cotton ink neptune dress, we love colors opaque mint green tights layered with unbranded sheer black tights (yup im wearing double tights), hermes black purse, topshop pumps.
used around 4 safety pins to create some sort of draping on my dress :P i love my We Love Colors tights very much ! they're comfortable+not itchy and they don't snag easily like most tights too :) Check them out on their twitter and facebook !
