Up in the Air

I was invited to Jii by Gloria Agatha's fashion show at the Wardrobe 2010 bazaar event on Sunday the 2nd. The bazaar itself wasnt good, but Gloria did a terrific job putting up all the clothes, sytling, and all for her first runway debut. Went there with a rock-a-billy look.. these boots never fail to make the simpliest outfit more stunning..

 Planes and pilots were the first few words that jumped out of my mind from this collection. After all the cargo warrior looks we're seeing this spring, it's good to get a fresh breath of air from a new source of inspiration. While Balmain works the utility look, Jii by Gloria Agatha rocks the pilot's seat ala Amelia Earheart. From cropped brown pants to long black gloves, the designer really knows how take an old inspiration into a contemporary design.
