When Comfort Meets Style

I'd like to share one of my favorite brand's Pre-Fall lookbook. Most Indonesian readers would've been familiar but I'm still going to post it up for some of my international readers as well. Anyway, the brand I'd like to share is Cotton Ink. As you may have noticed from the brand itself, Cotton Ink's product is made out of, well cotton. Their infamous classic and krey shawls (which comes in gazillions of colors FYI) have taken the storm in Indonesia thus now they're expanding their brand into a variety of affordable fashion goodies. From roomy boyfriend tshirts to a flattering drawstring pants and even tote bags, it's not hard to create a solo brand head-to-toe outfit. It's not just ordinary Indonesians who have gone under the spell of the local brand established by the dynamic-duo Carline Darjanto & Ria Sarwono. Even local celebrities have been spotted wearing the brand's trademark Krey Shawls for TV appearances. No wonder the brand has become the latest addition to Cleo Indonesia's Fashion Award as the "Reader's Favorite Brand".

Lately, I've been going back and forth to their newly opened webstore to check on new arrivals. and finally after their announcement on twitter last week, Cotton Ink has publicly released their Pre-Fall 2010 Lookbook. For those residing in Jakarta (or will be coming to Jakarta) next weekend, lucky you ! Don't forget to visit the annually held Brightspot Market on the 8th - 11th July at Plaza Indonesia, level 4 to take look (and buy...) many wonderful local goodies including Cotton Ink's new pieces.

Here are some of my picks from their Lookbook. Call me neutral-colored-junkie, I wouldn't care less. Neutrals are timeless and that's just one of my style trademarks. I hope Carline & Ria won't run out of stock this time :)

or maybe i should also get the black version of the clarissa shirt ?

another news id like to share is that IM ON TEEN VOGUE'S SNAPSHOT BLOG : BEST DRESSED READER OF THE DAY! Those following my twitter noticed that I once said I just received the best email ever. and that email was the notification that I got into the Snapshot Blog. I couldn't be any happier! Being on TeenVogue's site was actually one of my new year's resolution and I'm glad that I achieved it.
