belated blast

its been quite awhile since the last time I posted something up and my last blog walking session. posting the pictures I took on a little lunch with talisha, stella, ayu, nora, piping, cynthia, and alviana (notice that we're not all bloggers here!)


i love how the shawl drapes low at the back along with the leotard..

cotton ink shawl draped here and there, repetto textured leotard, wilt french terry sweatpants, billabong belt i had ages ago, prada bag, vintage porsche carrera avitors from ebay, pedder red peep toe ankle boots.


oh and I had a REALLY hard time doing my toilet business in these leotards. sadly mine didn't come with a button "downthere"

my photos were rather limited thanks to the bunch of ridiculous security guys who said we weren't allowed to take pictures in the building. Well.. honestly, I've been to that building alot of times and I've taken pictures like almost everytime there and no security guy has told me to stop taking photos. Well the only difference was that now I'm using a DSLR.. people in Indo should treat DSLR users just like any pocket camera users. just because I have an slr doesn't mean I'm from a magazine or the newspaper team (HELLOOOO do I look like a reporter or something?!) The security guy was asking what media I came to report from and he *read* demanded me to DELETE MY PHOTOS (you read that right..) .. the next thing I did, I just shouted back at him "what right do you have to tell me to delete my photos? I didn't come here to take photos of your ugly office building. I'm taking pictures of myself and my friends. I don't care if you have special procedures or whatsoever because I'm not taking photos of your building." For goodness sake, I'm not a dumb uneducated person. If I need to take photos of the building for a project or something, I'd definitely go to the management guys and asked permission. c'mon security guys, you were trained to be able to identify suspicious people. if you don't allow pictures AT ALL, then why didn't you tell me to put the camera away when I had my small ixus camera ? oh and please use your manners when you ask people to put the camera away. dont you think that just because you're a security guy you have the "power" to do magical stuff. im just a human and some respect will make me feel better.

*sorry for another rambling. i just had to get that out of my mind. I've been asked to put my dlsr away alot in public places for RIDICULOUS justifications. everytime I tell them that I'm just taking photos of my friends, it usually shuts them up. soooo who's the dodo in that case then?*
