most people associate camel as the it color for this fall. As I'm living in the tropics, i cant really go with the camel outfit combination that are present in the runway shows (despite how much i love them!) The weather is just too hot (I was already sweating in this jacket when I took the photos). After some discussion with my friends a couple days ago, it's surprising that they find camel a color that's very formal, conservative, and mature. I don't think that true at all. I guess all sorts of colors can be young fresh, edgy, feminine, or whatever you're aiming for as long as you pair them with the right pieces. For today's outfit, I went out of my neutral and basic pieces to keep the camel jacket fresh looking fresh and not too formal. Added the floral shorts and heart-shaped glasses to make it even more fresh and spring-y instead of winter-y.

yeah totally agree with you! every colour can be playful as long as we want it to be! like gray, a lot of people also said that its so formal, but when you match it with a shocking pink hosiery or a yellow hosiery, won't it be playful?

I actually agree with your friends, camel may be too mature for my tastes but you did an excellent job pairing your blazer with hot floral print shorts and that top. This way your look is mature yet playful and I like the contrast.

love this outfit! it looks very sophisticated but fun at the same time. camel can be somewhat of a more sophisticated color, but when paired with fun or flirtier items it can be transformed to feel younger, like how you styled it!
