Back to Basics
I never believed why people buy designer denims. I've always thought "why pay hundreds for a pair of denim when the same looking pair in Zara costs only a fraction of it?" BUT all of this changed when I snatched my first designer denim from 7-for-all-mankind a couple years back. From that moment, I understood why premium denims are labelled "premium". Everything lies in the cut. I noticed that muffin tops are less obvious and my legs just look leaner. These jeans were from an Australian brand, Satch. I find that aussie denims have flattering cuts. Ksubi is also a favorite. Their super-skinnies have a stretchy materials comfortable enough for a hot day in Jakarta. To me, a great fitting jeans is what differentiates between a sloppy and a polished casual outfit.

I got this lovely necklace a couple days ago and it reminds me of the one Carrie from Sexy and the City was wearing. Mine is the sterling silver "carrie" style name necklace. I wore this outfit to the Jakarta Culinary Festival Blogger's Dinner. There was 7 uber delicious courses prepared by some of the best chefs in town plus a little lecture on food photography tip by Foodtography (the company that takes food photos for hip places such Social House, Mr.Curry, and many more). I am not into denim that much, I think that jeans don't suit my body type for some reason, but I would love a premium pair like yours that are very fitting and make the legs look leaner. I always have trouble finding the right pair so that's why I gave up wearing them.
That military jacket is so chic, I especially love the buttons.

It's important for you to know that there are people who support you because I know how it's like to hear comments from people around you like " isn't it a waste of time? or "why do you even bother running a blog, you should do something else with your spare time"
Stuff like that only to bring you down and make your effort seem meaningless.
Don't let them stop you, you are doing a terrific job with everything.

I am currently dreaming of the Levi's "fitted" jeans that come in different shapes, can't remember the name. But I do agree, money gets better with jeans, and not just the cut, but also the fabric has difference.
