Tempoe Doeloe

So tommorow is the national Batik Day, so I decided to pull up an outfit wearing batik today instead of tommorow, in which im guessing that alot of people in the mall will be spotted wearing batik. This is my 2nd batik outfit post. The first one was posted about half a year ago if not mistaken. Anyhow, I got these two batik pieces from Australia's surfbrand, Roxy. A week ago I met with Deta from the Roxy team along with Fhenny to grab these comfy pieces. It's really great that an international brand like Roxy created a line of Batik clothes that's perfect for everydaywear. I always find it tough to incorporate nationalism into my daily outfits because most Batiks are made in the form of kebaya, formal gowns, etc. So thank you very much Roxy & Deta for the lovely piece :)

for the non-indonesians : this basically translates to "old photo, old times/moments" not quite sure what the actual translation is, but yeah you get the big picture right? ;)
