still remember my 'a tinge of red' post from about a month ago? well, i promised to do a little review on the acer ferrari liquid e phone that my readers loved. So here's the full review from the eye of a fashion blogger (not a tech-junkie magazine)!

Acer was one of those brands where I thought 'style' was not in their dictionary at all. After receiving this phone, I was totally wrong. It seems that the company has created a much more sleek line of products whether it's a phone or a laptop.
At first, a 'Ferrari' might seem like boys' toy but honestly, with the menswear trend and all, I think a ferrari compliments a women in a sexy way just like a woman would borrow her man's shirt and wear it as a dress. This phone does a great job functioning as a proper phone AND an accessory. A sleek, smart, and eye-grabbing red phone is exactly what I need in addition my current black and boring phone.

so if the aesthetics score 10/10, what about the tech specs then? Let's start off with the performance. Generally, it's quick-responsed, and very user friendly. This is my first time working with an Android device and I can immediately manage my way through the phone easily. Graphics is stunning and volume is loud so I don't get too much misscalls. However, the 5Mega-pixel camera was not what I had expected. I wish that the shutter was more responsive and the focusing system functioned better for clearer photos.

Android apps are one of the aspects that made me hooked onto this phone. Lots of free games like Angry Bird, Unblock Me, and multiplayers like Othello are just some of my favorites. For a person who's always stuck in Jakarta traffic, web browsing is a must. Good thing that the big screen allows me to surf and watch YouTube full screen until I get home.

I also love the indicator lights on top of the phone. Unlike other handsets, the Acer Liquid E has dedicated lights. For example, if there's a new message then the message icon would light up. This comes in handy when I'm in class/meeting so I know if I need to check on my phone or not.

did i mention the cool and matching bluetooth headset? i usually loudspeaker when i'm on the phone while I drive. this nifty device has sorta motivated me in going with the bluetooth headset trend thing.

Last but not least, the battery life. I can get away with this phone from 7am-9pm everyday at high usage and at about 2 days for minimum usage (sms, email, small chats, and web browsing). I like the fact that I can bring the usb cable and plug it to my computer at work to charge instead of taking the whole charger.
