COINS
As a blackberry user, one of the things I have a love/hate relationship is the broadcast message function. Hate because they keep firing up on my conversation list and eventually clogging up the system. Love because I never know when I'll get great messages like this phase below. I thought I'd share it with my readers...

SUNDAYS
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

LE CARRÉ
I have a couple of "life-stories" to share before I talk about my outfit for the Paris Mon Ami event from my previous post.. God knows how thankful I am at this point of my life. I feel that I am truly blessed by all the great opportunities and occasions that I've encountered for the past few months. I can't exactly share everything on this blog, but I'm simply grateful. I used to whimper on the things I didn't have but lately, I've learned to embrace and appreciate the things I already do. how? first off, stop comparing. If you keep juxtaposing your life with others, there will never be an end. Can you read and look at my blog posts now? Well, you're already blessed that you have a pair of functioning eyes. Even if you have a high myopic degree like me, at least you can still see. Start off by looking at the little details like the eye example. You will realize how many things that you can be thankful of..

my first christmas
a little late Season's Greetings from me! I was gonna make a post right on Christmas, but I haven't got the perfect photos to post up. and I don't really like the idea of putting other people's photos onto my blog. I prefer using my own :) I did another photo session with the little Allesia right on Christmas. I just finished editting some of them! I loved how the photos turned out. The girl is getting big and GOOOODDDD in posing ! I love her "my first christmas" shirt. check out more of the photos on my flickr here
I'm currently in Puncak at my villa while I'm typing this up. All I do is eat and sleep now. Thank god I have this USB internet device which allows me to browse whenever I please (and helps fly a good amount of time). Also brought my whole camera kit and I hope that I can have the time to upload some photos from the trip!
It's 2 days until New Year's Eve. I remember making my new year's resolutions last year and I think I did quite a good job in accomplishing most of them :) How about you guys? How much have you achieved in 2010?

A Lil' Bit of Grunge
I'm very excited to blog on this good weathered Friday :D for my friends who haven't actually seen me, this is a preview of what I'll be wearing when you do see me :D
I'm channeling a bit of the 90s grunge scene here wearing plaids and leather together. the look is actually inspired from one blogger who wore plaid under jacket :D i was inspired right away.
I took these series of photos right after I got dressed in a slightly different location. My mom is away for a business trip and my dad has left the house in the morning, so aka I have the house to myself. Because of that, I have the chance to roam around and take pics without the need of my parents starring at me while I do my mini photo shoot :D turns out that my house has ALOT of good photo spots.. right now I have 3 good spots .
I hope you enjoy this little series of photos I post up :D
my favorite one. I actually accidently zoomed it too much while I was setting the tripod. But the results not bad actually :D
made a vintage worn out sepia version of it ..
my favorite pose :D
Uniqlo long V-neck shirt, La Senza satin slip (worn underneath), Zara plaid shirt, Far East Plaza leather jacket, Bottega Venetta bag, Boots from China .
i love this outfit close up :D
DIY Chain Necklace, Forever21 Cross necklace, Juicy Couture heart chain necklace
this picture came out slightly blurry from the camera itself and I set the exposure to high.. but i actually liked the effect :D
Forever21 owl ring, Turtle ring from VivoCity stalls, random heart charm chainlink bracelet, Forever21 bracelets on the left hand, and studded bracelet from Valencia of Roll Up Your Sleeve.
