last week's outfit. decided to include my dog in the pictures after his long absence. Notice that he's gotten fatter than his last appearance. The jacket was a gift from the duo genius behind Cotton Ink, Carline & Ria (-thankkk you!) I really loved the draping and the fabric-mix so much.. I still have a gazillion things to do tick off my to-do-list so I won't blab much !

paperback

got one of the best packages in my mailbox yesterday. No, it's not a new pair of shoes or anything like that. This time it's just a book. BUTTTT it's not just any ordinary book, it's the first one I'm published into. If you're my twitter follower, you'd have known that I'm beyond happy for this. A 2 page spread, and another page on me.. above all that, I'm simply honored to be one of the 95 bloggers featured in Style Yourself. Special thanks to Sabrina & Lucie for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the fabulous book.

Velvet Clouds

When people ask me to describe my style, the first thing I'd say is "I don't know". Even though I have a style blog where I can actually 'analyze' my outfits, I still can't find the right words to describe it. One of the main reasons for that is because I feel that my style constantly changes. My outfits are a good mood indicator. A black blazer and basic jeans/shorts = "I'm too lazy to think for an outfit" [reminds me of those 3 hour sleeps during my college days] while color-blocking screams "I'm in a fabulous mood". On some days, my outfit is wether-dependant. For example, today's post is for one of those cloudy days. It may not be 18degrees when it's cloudy here, but it's good enough for me to wear double layered tops as I spend about 23hours of the day with the aircon on.




these blue velvet leggings were from We Are Rubbish. I like how they look ordinary at a glance, but rather quirky when you put more attention. I highly recommend you all to get the black version for a subtler effect.

his jacket

just a quick update on monday's outfit. borrowed my guy's jacket since I'm feeling that I'm starting to have this "i-dont-have-anything-to-wear" phase even though my closet is about to burge out and the hangers + extra suitcases to keep my clothes are already full. These miss sixty jeans are my faves. the cut and shape are just perfect and the denim stretches just nice so that it's comfortable for all day wear. *ps im not paid whatsoever to write about this.. everything here is from my own personal experience*

Remember the first time I introduced you to the label that 'brews' jewelry? Some of you long-time readers might remember but for those who dont, no worries, you'll find out anyway.
