JAKARTA PHOTODIARY

I had a really nice week-long Ramadhan break last week. I didn't go on a vacation but I did enjoy every inch of Jakarta's empty roads I drove through. For non-Jakartans out there, the traffic here is REALLY bad. How bad if you ask me, well if can take up to 3 hours to cover a 25km track. If anyone in a different city can top that of, I would love to know! With this city being peaceful, I couldn't help but go on random culinary trips all over Jakarta (which resulted unnecessary fatty acids to grow). Here's a little bit of recap of my holiday-in-town..

I love pasta. All sorts of noodles to be exact. Many Indonesians can't live without rice but for me, I can't resist a good plate of long stringy carbs. Spaghetti, lo mie, indomie, vercimillies, fettucini, ramen, Pho noodles, etcetera.

im addicted to Chatime's bubble teas.. my favorite? the black tea latte with grass jelly and pearls with less ice and normal sugar. this explains my weightgain over the holidays


picked up a Canon S95 ! I've only used this for a couple days yet I'm already in love. now I have one camera I can take everywhere I go. some of the pictures in this post were actually shot using the S95 too..

giving my repetto flats a break.. switching to old school converses for now
