THE GREAT GIFTS

my holidays have been blessed with a great amount of sleep and some of these goodies I'm showing you today ! Sometimes we forget that small meaningful goods can just mean as much as (or much better than..) big/expensive goods. I have always enjoyed that adrenaline when my friends/family buy me things that I've been wanting for ages, even if it's only a simple box of street vendor rice that you can only find in weird corners over Jakarta. That being said, I also tend to give late birthday presents to friends just because I felt it's better to search for the perfect suitable gift rather than just buying some random mug/shirt at the mall :) Christmas is coming up in about a month and I'm starting my gift shopping list already !


I have a love and hate relationship with polkadots. They're cute but they can be tacky too.. but sometimes it's that tackiness that makes it special. I don't know.. haha. I saw these on ROMWE and I bought them anyway because they were cheap and I thought it'd be a good alternative to my usual black converse whenever I shoot..

more glasses. black ones are my favorite Tod's Aviators (get it here) but the grey ones are actually 3D glasses (courtesy of INGRI:DAHL) to watch those 3D movies.. I am a bit of a clean freak when it comes to using things that anyone else can be using. The idea of getting acne on my temples grosses me out, so I always swab alcohol swipes before I wear those 3D glasses at the movies.. Now I have my own pair so I don't need to worry about the germs !
