I was first introduced to this online retailer of nail polishes a couple months ago. Since I always buy nail varnishes online anyway, the shop and I was a match. Plus, with a whole range of nail polish brands out there, including the hard-to-find-in-Indonesia Ciaté varnishes, AND great pricing, there’s not to love about Bubbletalk Shop.. But today’s ‘star’ is not Ciaté, but it’s Ozotic. Read on to find out why it’s special..
first 'nail look' up is what I'd reckon the siren version of a french manicure. I was bored of the usual neutral polishes used so I switched it up with a red base (Essie's Head Mistress) and finished it with glittery black tips (Ozotic #526). I find OZOTIC's colors very unique. Not only do the iridescent glitter bits change into a variety of beautiful shades, but the formula is really long lasting. I managed to get one week sans chipping with only 2 coats.
this is what I usually do on weekends : do my nails right when I get out of bed. Okay maybe I don't take my beady bracelets to sleep but that weekend, I was planning my outfit to be worn after shower and the bracelets stuck up till the blog photoshoot..
self-manicurer tips #1 : do your nails before shower.
You can mess up on the corners of the nails, and when you hop in the shower, you can easily use your shower puff to scrub those messy parts without screwing up the paint on the nail bed. on a note, just make sure your polish is totally dry before you turn that water on.
if you pay attention closely, the nail colors (Ozotic #502) change a bit depending on it's position to the light above. trust me, you put it on and you'll never want to stop wiggling your hand in all sorts of directions...
this last part was a tough cookie to shoot! but I am glad that I managed to capture the 'gradient' quality of these awesome Ozotic nail polishes through a GIF image.. my assistant even had to pull out the reflector that I usually only use for professional jobs
