Stripes & Sienna

follow my blog if you like it . iTweet @glister_blister
check out my Chictopia & Lookbook.nu

If you were paying attention to my tweets this morning, I said that I'm channeling one of my style muses, Sienna Miller. I was browsing through Shop Till You Drop magazine (from Aussie) and I saw a page that tried to replicate Sienna's look. From then, I knew right away what I wanted to wear for today. Let's just get rolling with the pictures since pictures tell a thousand words right? ;)
6jan-3
Cotton.Ink asymmetrical padded shirt, Wishdrobe skirt, unbranded belt, vintage multi-layer necklace, Marc by Marc Jacobs star necklace, random bangles, Hermes bag, Rumah Mode fedora, Nilou Dejelantik flats.
Photobucket6jan
Michelle Miller ??? hahaha.. i know it's lame.. but yeahh.. added the Ray Bans.. and the grey stuff wrapped around my torso is the Cotton Ink gray melange shawl.. I didn't end up wearing that because I thought the outfit seems too busy with that layered.. I was aiming for an easy breezy look..
6jan-2
6jan-4
6jan-56jan-6
i love the triangular sleeves very much ! It's even better with the padded shoulders :D
If you love the asymmetrical top & scarf I'm wearing, head on to Cotton Ink's blog shop ! my favorite local brand ships internationally :D

Some of you may also know that I went for food tasting this lunch today. It's for my boyfriend's sister's wedding next weekend. I'd like to share some of my favorites from the food tasting :D
6jan-food
Wafu Kinoko Salad
6jan-food2
Butterfly Beef Stew with Mashed Potatoes and Spinach Bechamel
6jan-food3
Grilled Lobster with some quirky condiments (im guessing lotsa cheese, some mayo, etc.)
6jan-food56jan-food4
and last but not least, DESSERTS ! my favorite part of all meals ! the warm chocolate lava cake was the BEST ! it's crispy on the outside and it has oozing dark chocolate inside.. perfect with the almonds and the Bailey's ice cream they served it with :D

apologies if I'm making you guys hungry :D

I think you did a good job copying Sienna's style, and if I had to pick a favorite combination ...it would have to be with the sunglasses, without the hat. Just seems more easy breezy.

And did you remember that I'm trying to stay away from food now because of the weight gain during the holidays? Hahaha! You are one bad girl, you are tempting me to eat again.

PS...I just flew to the US a couple of days ago. I had to do some errands so I was not able to update my blog yet. Today I will, I hope. xoxo
