Geek at Heart

It's finally thursday ! and I am sooo happy ! I wore this Geek Chic outfit on Wednesday but I didn't have the time to post it up at night. Again, I tried wearing a new outfit style that isn't in my comfort zone. What do you think about it ? I end up not wearing the bow tie though. I felt it was too much. Sorry if I'm spamming you guys with my DIY patches. I think I'm kinda addicted with them.
13jan-1
im totally diggin' this pose..
13jan-2
Zara white button down shirt, Bow hairclip (worn as tie) from Valencia, Forever21 vest, Armani Exchange DIY Patched denim jeans, Nine West oxford shoes, Tote Bag from CosmoGirl magazine with random plush keyrings.
13jan-3
13jan-4
wearing Forever21 pearl necklace as bracelet and Guess watch.
14jan05
the racoon (or whatever it is) and the monkey !
13jan-7
found this little furry friend in my arts and crafts drawers . he was slightly dusty !
13jan-6
that's me sipping Starbucks' Passion Tea ! I loved that very much ! plus it has no calorie !

i've been featured on Style Fool's blog's Cream of the Crop list ! Thanks much girl !

and I've also been tagged by Farahdiena of RetroGlam !
1. Give thanks to whom it gives you: thank you Farahdiena !
2.Name an author you love: to be honest I hate books and the books I only read is Harry Potter. So I guess it's JK Rowling !
3.If applicable, name an author who highlights: hmmm i dont really understand this part :|
4. Books you love: can I skip the book questions ? im not a book person..
5. Something that always excites you: being featured on other blogger's site !
6. Something you hate: cockroaches ! and durian and porridge .

Cute outfit. I like the bow with it too. I also like the pearl necklace as a bracelet. You look great in this outfit and it is good to see you trying all kinds of things. The patchwork jeans rock! Great job Michelle =) xoxo

So good to try things outside your comfort zone - I have the hardest time doing anything 'preppy'. You look great (good to experiment with the bow tie, but I agree, better without), and the jeans keep it fresh and edgey.

This is very cute. Next time you could try a ribbon bow instead of the full on bowtie. If you tie it loose like a necklace it would probably feel less costumy.

Hey, so glad that I'm following you. Fab outfit. I'd love to do something a bit geek-chic like this, but I'm way too curvy to pull it off. Love the idea above for a ribbon bow, though. I may just try that! Keep going! xxx

I do love that you want to try out different styles to wear out! This actually suits you so well:)

Ohhh I don't think the bow added on is actually too much. But without it as well, you still look effortlessly chic~

Don't worry on those jeans, wear them as often as you like. You can do a remix series of the jeans though, that would be exciting!

And the furry friend is soo adorable. Adore the last candid shot too.
