Primary Hues

ps. this is a scheduled post I'd like to share with you all before we enter 2010
I can't explain how happy I am in these past few days. Friends (old and new ones) really do bring the joy out of me. Ever since I started dating my boyfriend back 2 years++ ago, I started to disappear from the social world. Little by little, my name from guest lists diminished. I lived in a bubble.

My boyfriend is someone irreplaceable. We fight. We argue. But hey, that's one bit you can't walk away from in relationships. You may hear me rant this and that, but I truly love him with all my heart. Although I know that he'll always be there for me, I still felt that there was something missing. Puzzled, I told myself to just go with the flow of life.

Just after I started college, God finally made me realize that I shouldn't be in the bubble and neither should anyone else be. Believe it or not, a good relationship will require time-on and time-offs together. It's not the matter of being bored of each other. But as my boyfriend's sister would say it, "we ALL need a time for ourselves". By 'ourselves', it may be on your own or with your pals but just not your partner. It is the time for us to grow and to reflect ourselves.

And as for my remarks in this last few days of 2009, I'd like to thank my Lord for allowing to discover what I've missed. I know I made mistakes but I am a 17 year old and I still have a long life for me to learn. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to be apart of this blogging community. Never have I been this happy in my life before. Once again, thanks much.
the social butterfly is officially kicking back .

This is beautiful, Michelle my belle.. Your words perfectly depicted the whole feeling that one had felt before. My feeling! I've been in quite similar situation, and the worst thing was I stayed that way for 4 years! That's pretty lame, and I also realized that I've missed lotta things I could've experience before.. But things happened for goodness, and there's no need to regret. I also happy to be the part of this blogging community, get to know many beautiful person, get to know YOU - one thing of a beauty, and jump off the bubble.
I like the way you think, you're not only pretty, but brainy indeed!
I really wish we could see in person real someday :) I'm wishing you every happiness for your well-going relationship, social life, aspirations, and life at all...

Love you!

Michelle!

I really love that this post is so personal:) And we actually are on the same boat.
I've been with my boyfriend for 3years plus now.It will be our fourth year next April!

I at first too was like slowly dissolving from the social circle. But slowly and now I've learnt that we do need our 'me' time.
And my boyfriend and I are still as close as ever.

I wish you all the many years of happiness to come with your loved one.

I got to sit down and write my post like this too<33333
