I Feel like Jumping..

sorry for the 'exceeded bandwidth' pictures on the older posts . I'll fix it ASAP !
and please follow my blog on Google Friend Connect (on the right side) if you like my blog :] let me know and I'll follow you back !!
I've always thought jumpsuits were the UGLIEST piece of clothing ever made in history. Let's face it, they were not sophisticated during the 80s and they still don't look right these days. BUT things changed until I saw this magazine spread from the November edition of Shop 'till You Drop magazine from Australia (this is one of my fave magazines ! hear that Koalas down there ?? :) Now I feel like I wanna wear a different jumpsuit everyday..
Jumpsuit1
loved the skinny tie in this page .
jumpsuit2
this style would look great for a casual day . the drape of the jumpsuit is beautiful
jumpsuit3

jumpsuit4

jumpsuit5
this is my absolute favorite ! aren't those pumps to die for ?
check out my "replica" of this editorial below .
jumpsuit6
amazed with asymetrical jumpsuits !
jumpsuit7

jumpsuit8
magazine spread pictures courtesy of Shop Till You Drop (www.shoptillyoudrop.com.au)
Aren't these images jaw-dropping ? it's even better when you see it in the magazine . I didn't scan the photos that's they looked more bad than it's suppose to be . haha .
anyway, I bet you can't wait for my interpretation of these Jumpin' Jumpsuits looks ! (or am I just being over-reacting . hahaha ) Shot these photos in my mom's room by the way . My face already look exhausted cus I took this after I got home at 9pm ..
4s
Jus D'Orange black corset-style jumpsuit, tailor-made puff sleeve button down, Forever21 long pearl necklace, Wishdrobe layered pearl necklace, Topshop bangle, Fedora from Rumah Mode (bandung), Pedder Red shoes.
1s2s3s
these are other versions of the same picture . couldn't decide which one i like more.
9nov
decided to add fedora and pearl neckaces to make the look more me instead of just an exact copy paste thing . i always value originality :D
9nov-3
i love the lighting very much here . I used some kind of standing lamp to create the effect.
9nov-2
I got this black jumpsuit in Bandung at Tomodachi boutique . I love that boutique very much . i always go there if I go to Bandung . Lucky that I saw this magazine spread before I went to Bandung, or else, I wouldn't even want to try the jumpsuit on . I'm so glad i found this magazine spread AND the jumpsuit ! and since I couldn't get similar shoes to the one on the photoshoot, I did a 'temporary DIY' on my sorta-new nude pumps . I just tied a ribbon around my ankle and that's it . New shoes ! i tried finding a wider black satin ribbon, but I didn't succeed, so the best I could come up was this ! :D

hope you all had a great weekend . I'm gonna be sooo busy for these 2 weeks . so please mind the lack of post and comment replies . I need to prioritize my education before my leisure activities first . hope you all won't mind . i PROMISE i will reply all of your dear comments !!

You are very creative. The shoes look very similar even though you used a ribbon! I love this! I also like jumpsuits/rompers, but I have only bought the shorts style rompers, not the long pants kind. I still want to buy one! xoxo

I actually like jumpers, contrary to so many bloggers out there. but as with every trend, there are ugly ones out there.

Miss Red said...

love your jumpsuit! and some jumpsuits, like long black ones, are really elegant and chic. but i really don't like rompers. yikes.

Valencia Lia said...

Re:Yayyy for the tights and yes yes a huge BOOO to the heat.

And you were asking about undergarments with the low back,I actually dont wear them at all! heee
I'm kinda used to it when there's such a need with certain clothes. As I used to dance ballet and out leotards have low back and we don't wear undergarments too.

I love love egg tarts too. And yes its fresh mango, with the mango ice cream ! heee yum yum,the one I went was near Bugis !

I too have a slight obsession with jumpsuits - there's something very classy and sophisticated about them. Loving the one you're wearing; but I especially adore the way you've styled it. The ambiance of the room, and the hat add such an Old-Fashioned, vintage noir feel - absolutely stunning! :)

By the way, I am now following you on Google Friend Connect! :)
