The 24/7 Dress .

Please follow my blog if you like it and I’ll follow you back ☺

Here’s a question for all you girls out there. Have you ever been stuck in situation where you have a day and night event that runs back to back with each other and you have no time to get home for a change? I’m pretty sure that you all have. So today, I will be rambling about my favorite apparel piece that solves this problem: the dress.

Before you can fulfill this look, you must search for that perfect transition dress. Find one in a classic & flattering shape, in muted color, and one that will last through seasons. Mine is from Zara and I love the fact that I can wear it in a variety of lengths (even as a top).

For the daylight, layer up! I know most of you are a master at this. But I’m still gonna say & demonstrate it again :) For winter, bulk up with some colorful tights to punch up the mute color, add a neutral color jacket, wrap a cozy scarf in a poppin’ color or pattern, add socks/leg warmers, and finish with killer platforms and/or a hat.

Zara dress, Wishdrobe skull scarf, Zara blazer, Topshop purple tights, Leg warmers from japan, Mango belt, Beret from Rumah Mode, and Studded platforms from Hong Kong.

EXTRA TIP: Wear platforms/heels in order to prevent you form being ‘swallowed’ especially if you’re petite size.

If you live in a hot climate like me, wear tights (not wool ones! Duh~), puffy sleeve top to add interest, and pile on those accessories! Necklaces or bracelets, whatever. Just choose ONE area to accentuate not everything. If you feel you’re out of shape, then cinch the dress with a belt. Put on some flats and you’re ready to run around doing errands in style minus the pain.

Zara dress, Club Monaco puff sleeve chiffon top, Mango belt, random necklaces, Headband from Mu-Ee, Miu Miu tote bag, DIY hole tights, Pedder Red flats.

As the sun sets, loose those layers and simplify your outfit. Stick with the dress, change to a skinny belt, switch from flats and bulky platform to those sky scraping pumps. Put on more makeup and you’re done !

Vintage belt, Miu Miu clutch, Elephant bangles are a gift, Louboutin pumps.
Psssttt.. If you’re blessed with natural wavy hair. Twist your hair into a bun in the morning and let the bun go at night. You’ll be blessed with a 5-second waves.

And that is all you need to know . the rest relies on your creativity :)

I just feel like posting this picture as well. Its me with my dear dog. He’s currently having some skin allergies.. pray that the allergy won’t spread all over this body pleasee :(

annddd now I’ll be featuring some food (to make you people hungry . kidding**) I ate way too much today. But I couldn’t resist it because the foods were too good!
Below is what I had for brunch. It’s lontong with lodeh (somekind of compressed rice with vegetables spicy soup usually eaten with fried garlic and salted fish) My boyfriend’s maid made it and I couldn’t stop eating.

Next, I also made these Dutch croquettes called Bitterballen today at my boyfriend’s house. I put too much meat in it. But the end result wasn’t that bad either. Drop your emails on the comment section if you want me to email the recipe for you :) its very simple to make everyone can do it !

Lastly, I got tagged by Fhenny from Heart My Steps for finding seven green things in my room. Green wasn’t that easy to spot in my room. So here it goes !

I’d like to tag Pop Your Fashion Pill, Janetteria, Phie Emotions, Lolichoco Pop, Malu’s Fashion, Lovely Fringe, and Teacups & Saucers for finding 7 PURPLE things in their room ! (purple is my favorite color! )
